Senior Assistant Manager - Exports

Handling & Processing of all Imports/Exports documents including Exports of repair or replacement.

a. Hand on experience in dealing Imports/Exports documents especially L/C documentation and correction of discrepancies in coordination with concern department.

b. Verify all AWB and other exports documents.

c. Sea and Air freight negotiation with shipping agents.

d. Handle logistics port activities and maintain advance payment records.

e. Having good command on MS Office and communicate/update HOD about Imports/Export status.

f. Maintaining all Imports/Exports record.

g. Tracking of Imports/Exports payments status.

h. Log tracker of all consignments dispatched from SITE to Port.

i. Rebate claims of export shipments.

j. Scrutiny of B/L and shipping certificate.

k. Having Strong command on Follow ups and Coordination with concern department for Imports/Export related issues.

l. Coordinate and liaison with carrier for scheduling.

m. Coordinate with freight forwarder for timely shipment.

n. Ensure all outbound shipments must be screened as per prevailing Laws, Govt. Policies and Company procedures.

o. Supervise smooth shipment / delivery of all out bound material.

p. Check & verify e-forms & documentation of shipment as per customs procedures

The candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to deal with clients, clearing agents, customs officials, etc. The candidate should be fully conversant with supply chain best practices and should have thorough knowledge of Pakistan customs tariff, HS Codes, SRO/directives, etc.
