The Accounts Manager shall work under direct supervision of the Director AFI.
Manage and supervise the functional and administrative duties of the Accounts department
Ensure effective and accurate financial recording, reporting and management (periodic and year-end financial statements, prepare monthly financial reports).
Ensure compliance to accounting policies and procedures
Ensure compliance to the legal requirements
Asset, cash, accounts receivable management (including maintaining fixed assets’ register)
Maintain relationship with the bank / fortnightly bank reconciliation statements.
Invoice preparation, dispatch and follow-up of payments from external partners
Procurement
FBR tax audit documentation and coordination with Tax consultants, and ensuring compliance with tax authorities
Preparation and disbursement of salary
Preparation of draft budgets in close liaison with the management.
Monitor expenditure and compare with approved budget, prepare adjustments as necessary
Coordinate with auditors and ensure achieving proper and on-time reporting of reviewed and audited financials
Undertake proper planning, expenditure tracking and audit of financial resources
Preparation of monthly cash flow plan
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable among different departments (studies, translation etc.)
Management of petty cash
Perform other tasks as assigned by the director.
