Administration, Installation and configuration of Databases and Application Servers
Manage security access and rights on Databases and App. Server
Implement policies and processes to ensure the security and efficiency
Monitor and review logs and apply remedies in case of issues
Perform Backups and Recovery
Test and Implement effective offsite and onsite backup and recovery processes and procedures to minimize down time
Tune Databases / App servers and apply patches if required
Maintain DBA Register to log all DBA level activities
Work as an effective team member with software and other IT system professionals
Research and Plan for improvements and upgrades
Good knowledge of Application Development, Logic Designing, Structure Designing, Coding (SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures)
