SENIOR DEPUTY MANAGER SECURITY 

Specifications:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 

Experience:  Minimum 8- 10 Years of relevant experience

Job Requirements:

• Enforces Security measures (preventive/protective).
• Managing and providing effective leadership to the security team. 
• Act as a focal point for any investigation involving security.
• Reporting any security breach, undertake a full investigation and recommend a course of action
• Ensuring the appropriate level of training is provided for all security staff on disasters, fire and bomb procedures, theft, use of security equipment and routine security duties.
• To ensure strict compliance to their department/division operational safety and security functions and also ensure operations are provided with necessary resources.
• Ensures all Officers/Supervisors/Security Staff maintain a smart turnout and observe discipline and punctuality.
• Keeps the security management informed of all important happenings
• Ensures proper maintenance of records/registers/telexes
• Manage front office of the relevant plants & Worker’s quarters at Dhabeji. Control the gate for implementing company procedures that require appropriate verification, checking and recording of both incoming or outgoing vehicles and personnel.
• To keep vigilance all around the premises to avoid and report any theft, intruders, illegal activities or violation of company policies
• Strict security and record keeping of all goods/raw materials including machinery and personnel
• Keep liaison with local administration including SHO; DSP; DPO; DCO; EDO; DDO; Rangers and other security agencies
• To Lead the team from the front and ensure teamwork
• Forestall the requirement and devise workable plans.
• Educate and groom the staff to ensure cohesion within and optimal efficiency.
• Ensure comfort and safety of guests and visitors staying in the guest house by regular visits and collecting feedback
• Periodic physical stock-taking of fixed assets
• Ensure the satisfaction of internal users with services provided by the facilities team by tracking turn-around-time, understanding user needs and collecting feedback
• Establish tie-ups with external agencies to source security personnel with appropriate skills
• Maintain a regular and cordial contact / relationship with contractors and others concerned.
• Coordinate in employment and training of guards from security services and ensure strict security at entry and exit points and at all areas belonging to the company in the area of responsibility.
• To deal with any potentially harmful/violent situations along with IR and Admin departments and protect the safety of the company's plant and personnel at all costs.
• To keep a respectful, peaceful and diplomatic approach to all interactions with company personnel and outsiders while effectively enforcing company procedures and policies.
• To ensure no single ethnic group or loyalty base is concentrated at any single security point
• To keep close liaison with Security companies to ensure the effectiveness of the operation and further evaluate their performance for continuous improvement.
• To check the effectiveness of weapons supplied by Security Service Providers.
• Any other task assigned by the Head of Security.
