AMS-Power & Industrial Engineering Private Limited requires the services of an experienced, dedicated, hardworking, and well-connected Proposal & Estimate Engineer who will be responsible for end-to-end completion of high quality EPC/Construction proposals, quotations, bids and tender responses and Business Development of on-going projects.
Activities/Responsibilities:
- Generate new leads through all methods available; including networking, web search, events, contacts, print media, business directories etc.
- Develop & execute business development plans/strategies regularly (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients.
- Regular liaison and relationship with former, current, and future clients.
- Regular meetings with potential clients.
- Understand / Make / prepare technical and financial bids according to the ITB / RFQ documents.
- Preparing Estimates as per developed norms and man-hours working, Cost controlling,
- Take off BOQ, Quantities & Price Re-measurement, Project Costing and review ITB and other documents.
- Planning and scheduling of overall proposal activities.
- Vigilantly keep a watch on construction & EPC projects all over the country. Identify & pursue projects of interest to acquire business.
Required Skills
- At least 03 years of experience in an engineering/construction company as a Project engineer at site.
- Excellent Communicating skills with Customers from all around the world via Calls and Emails (ENGLISH Listening and Speaking skills REQUIRED).
- Having a great personality that is likeable, and able to converse well socially.
- Excellent negotiation and objection handling skills.
- Previous experience in an engineering/construction company will be preferred
- Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
