We have a number of exciting projects in the works and are now looking for a Product Researcher to join our team to help realize our vision. The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. He must be a self-starter, eager to drive new product pipelines and consider security, performance and user interface implications in the designs.
Preferred Skills:
You have a data-driven mindset, comfortable with Excel/ Google Sheets and proficient at building reports, and distilling actionable insights to affect growth in the business
You should be a tinkerer with attention to detail: always looking to test-and-learn in order to increase no. of SKU
Find high demand, hot social trending, viral products to sell (proof products)
You should be curious and eager to learn and stay ahead of ecommerce trends and competitors and finding new best products.
You should be a self-starter, able to work productively on your own or leading an initiative
Work closely with management on product research by providing product and market research, competitor analysis and pricing guidelines within online product offerings.
Identify untapped product opportunities and markets for further business development.
Conduct market research for new products to be sold on E-commerce Channels
Research and update product pricing based on sales
Search for best selling products across the categories on 3rd Party e-commerce channels.
Identifying hot products currently selling on Facebook - this will be based on various factors, including but not limited to likes, shares, and comments as well as profit potential selling at the going market prices vs AliExpress fulfillment cost.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience as a Product Researcher.
Knowledge of Adspy Ecommerce Hunt, Ali Express and Oberlo.
Excellent research skills, ability to Google things like a pro!
Exposure / experience to design thinking principles.
