SUMMARY

  • Responsible for strategy, financial and fiscal management aspects of the company.
  • Provide leadership in the administrative, business planning, accounting, budgeting, and talent management efforts of the company.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Experience in strategy planning and execution.
  2. Well versed with corporate finance (investment and deal execution).
  3. Experienced in mobilizing investment from international funds / social venture funds.
  4. Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of taxation and local regulations.
  6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  7. Work requires excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong leadership and multi-tasking skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  9. Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, and at least 10 years of experience in finance position, a MBA /CIMA/CA is preferred.
  10. Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule in the office, field and site. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.
  2. Develop and coordinate changes and improvements in the automated financial and management information systems for the company.
  3. Ensure compliance with local, provincial and federal budgetary/tax reporting requirements.
  4.  Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.
  5. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
  7. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
  8. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  9. Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  10. Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
  11. Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to register with the SBP and any other regulatory agencies.
  12. Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide various aspects of the business. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
  13. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  14. Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
  15. Oversee the financial management of all assets to maximize utility.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Represent the company externally to media, government agencies, investors, funding agencies, and the general public.
  2.  Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff
