We are looking for an energetic Deputy Project Manager (Operations).
Experience Candidates are encouraged to apply.
- To manage all the activities related to laundry operations including collection, receiving, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, packing, delivering and supply chain in direct coordination with field staff and laundry supervisors/engineers.
- To prepare and implement standard operating procedures related to operations of laundry services in Hospitals.
- To manage and implement the daily activities of laundry operations in close coordination with the Project Manager and in direct collaboration with the Laundry Supervisors/Engineers.
- To collaborate with the Project Manager to outline the guidelines and methodologies needed for an appropriate implementation of activities regrading laundry operations and management in Hospitals.
- To ensure the monitoring of laundry operations through coordination with field staff and through LMIS (Laundry Management Information System).
- To ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports related to all activities of laundry operations in Hospitals.
- To implement a daily vehicle movement plan prepared by Transport Department for collection and delivering of hospitals laundry.
- To collaborate with Project Manager on organizing, conducting and analyzing field staff activities of laundry operations.
- To work with Project Manager on reviewing the project budget and forecasting expenditures.
- To propose possible adjustments in the project implementation process, in light of any difficulties encountered.
- To collaborate with the Project Manager on the recruitment, training and management of the project team.
- To collaborate with the Project Manager on the administrative HR management of the project team.
- To collaborate with the Project Manager on the implementation and respect of safety and health rules for staff in laundry operations and management.
- To support the Project Manager to prepare and follow-up on the project’s procurement plan with the logistics team.
- To appropriately classify and archive key project documents.
- To maintain contact with governmental department involved in the laundry operations and management project.
Skills Required
- Microsoft office Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required
- Microsoft Project Management
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision in a challenging environment.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
- Report writing skills required
Qualifications:
- BSc Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with MBA in Project Management or MS in Project Management / Engineering Management
Experience
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ relevant work experience in operations management
