Job Objectives

To become an efficient member of AWT Internal Audit Deptt.
To help the management of AWT Internal Audit Deptt in running the activities efficiently.
To strengthen internal controls of AWT by following SOPs and guideline given by the seniors.
To give maximum input in pointing out weaknesses in systems and controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to carry out pre audit of all payments and other activities in accordance with SOPs, generally accepted accounting and auditing principles and guidelines given by GHIA.
Responsible to ensure that all cases received for pre audit are duly supported with all relevant documents and are in order as required by SOPs.
Responsible to verify that all required formalities have been completed especially in procurement and sales cases.
Responsible to verify that order is being placed in favour of the lowest party.
Responsible to verify that the material received is in accordance with the ordered specifications.
Responsible to verify that all required documents are available and payment is being released in favour of actual payee.
Responsible to ensure that cases have been checked/scrutinized in the light of laid down SOPs of the project.
Responsible to check that paper budget provision has been applied.
Responsible to prepare notes/draft observations for information of GHIA/DMA on case to case basis before vetting of the same.
Responsible to verify that sale agreements have been properly made and conditions have been fulfilled before delivery of seeds.
Responsible to ensure that documentation have been completed before sale of the products.
Responsible to verify purchase and sale return.
Responsible to carry out monthly stock taking of all products.
Responsible to report any unusual transaction to GHIA/DMA.
Responsible to perform any other job assigned by GHIA / DMA to entire satisfaction of seniors.
