Will take charge from the electrician of the finishing / outgoing shift.
Will clean electric panel, note down the readings of energy meters and record power factor on the register.
Will note down the work of three shifts in the logbook.
Will check all dyeing and spinning motors for overheating of cooling fans.
Will check and repair panels and motor starters.
Will keep the generator in working condition and carryout weekly maintenance.
Will check all tube lights and fans daily.
Will check for any loose or open connections daily.
Will carryout weekly check of water and air filters.
Will rectify any electrical fault in a machine or report to ESE if the fault repair is beyond him.
