Quantity Surveyor - Specification Writer

Prepares material lists and specifications to be used as standards by Quantity Surveying department for preparing Specification for the particular project and to be used by the Supervision Department for Construction activities.

Analyze plans and drawings to be able to determine materials specifications. - Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties, utilizing knowledge of material standards and construction procedures.

Write Outline Specifications & Detailed Specifications in CSI format

Interpret architectural, engineering and contract documents (drawings and specifications) and assist the Project Architect in locating information particular to the project.Requirements

Experience must be above 6-8 years.

It will be an additional advantage if candidate have GCC experience.

Proven track record with leading Architecture multi-disciplinary consultancies

Have excellent communication skills in English both speaking and writing.

Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.Track record in managing complex, high value and varied contracts from a quantity surveying perspective.Expert analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decisions.
