Senior Practice Accountant

We are currently looking for ACCA Inter/Finalist/Qualified, CA (Inter) / Finalist or MBA Finance candidates who are looking to develop their skillset and join a passionate, close-knit accountancy firm. This will be the perfect job opportunity for an Accountant looking to progress and who thrives on a challenge. To be successful in this Accountancy Job you will need to be highly client-focused and a confident communicator. You will be capable of handling accounts preparation and tax work independently. Leadership skills are important for this role as the successful Accountant will be managing and developing trainees and supporting the existing team.

The main responsibilities:

Bank Reconciliations.
Prepare financial documents and reports for management, shareholders, statutory or other bodies;
Prepare company and individual tax (UK) & VAT returns (UK).
Evaluate financial information for management purposes;
Prepares monthly/quarterly management accounts, budgetary reviews and financial forecasts;
Prepare, review annual statutory accounts for Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and Charities.

Candidate requirements:

Must be an ACCA Qualified/ Finalist/Inter, CA(Inter) or MBA Finance
UK Based Accountancy practice work experience would be advantageous.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of accounting and taxation.
Good working knowledge of Accounting Software’s VT Accounts, Taxcalc, Xero, Sage50, Quickbook, Payroll Manager and Microsoft Office would be advantageous.
