Job Descriptions
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating credit terms, prices, Delivery timelines, etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation like PO and GRN.
- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensuring buffer stock for eliminating any stock out.
- Coordinating with the Accounts Payable Dept for any disputed payments of vendors.
- Purchasing material from the Local market for any urgent needs.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position.
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Must have contacts with food industry vendors specially HORECA.
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent, or Officer
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
