Create and maintain functional, performance, stress and endurance tests (cases) by using latest available QA tools.
Must have experience in writing and executing test cases by using QA tools.
Evaluate and test new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.
Write instructions into computer to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards.
Identify differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards.
Set up tests at request of user to locate and correct program operating error following the installation of program.
Log bugs/ issues/changes etc and their priority and severity and maintain that log.
Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure the efficiency of operation.
Review new or modified programs, including documentation, diagram, and flow charts to determine if the program will perform according to user requests and conform to guidelines.
Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
May evaluate proposed software or software enhancement for feasibility.
