Call for an individual capable of taking on a challenging task of an estimator bearing minimum 4 years of professional experience with contracting/consulting firm in estimation of buildings, highways & pre engineered buildings (steel structures) based on rate analysis (current market rates, labour charges, transportation and various other factors for determining the cost of job for a constructing firm).
The individual should be experienced and should bear the tendency of learning and implementing new concepts and taking the job as a challenge.
Main job tasks shall include:
1. Preparation of IPCs based on data obtained from site engineers or self measurement (where required).
2. Bidding/estimation of various projects for different departments based on market rates, location factors within permissible time frame.
3. Evaluation of rates through rate analysis.
4. Obtaining data/progress from site on daily basis and preparation of weekly/quaterly/monthly progress reports.
5. Preparation of execution plan/s in collaboration with site engineers/project managers.
6. maintaining soft and hard data.
