We are hiring for a Chief of Staff role who will work closely with C-Level on strategic objectives.

  • It Will be a cross functional role with strategy and project management involvement.
  • Ideally it should be someone who wants to spend 2 years learning a crazy ton about what it takes to build up a fast growing technology company They’ll get exposed to every part of it..
  • fundraising, investor management, team hiring best practices, KPI reporting methods, technology planning; at the core the candidate would need to be a people person and with some project management skills Anyone who has launched, shut down or thought of launching a side hustle is preferred!

Job Duties

  • Do calendar audits, review and synthesize metrics/ initiatives to support company priority setting
  • Acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO/President and senior management team.
  •  Establishes standards and procedures for hiring and managing the office staff and personnel for the CEO/President
  • Prepare agendas, take notes, and assign action items at weekly staff meetings, manage the OKR and annual planning processes, support with board meeting prep, create decision-making frameworks, manage All Hands programming
  • Lead a metrics overhaul, do customer research on an adjacent business opportunity, run an acquisition process, lead the search for an executive hire
  • Manage your executive’s time closely to ensure it is spent on the top priorities for the company. It is your executive’s most scarce and critical resource.
  • This could include weekly calendar audits and a daily standup to sync on priorities.
  • Put into place and oversee operational procedures that help your executive better manage their meetings, team, and workload.
  • Internal operations should be grounded in principles and utilize clear, consistent processes and practices. Checklists and templates for things that happen on a repeat basis are critical for establishing a repeatable, mistake-free way to run things, and can start to become the “playbook” by which the internal operations of the company are run.
  • Provide leverage to your executive so that they can better understand the business, make decisions and manage their teams.

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a C-level leader in a high growth organization.
  • MBA in Business, Marketing or Administration is preferred.
  •  Experience working with a team in a fast paced setting.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
  • A hustler attitude with strong professional mindset
  • Worked in a growth stage scale up
  • Are you a sponge? Because you will be exposed to Tech, Product, Ops, Warehousing, Marketing - A LOT
  • Ability to create skunk teams within organizations focused on unique cutting-edge projects
