Android Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Android Developer to join our growing team at Avanza Solutions. The ideal candidate will be working with a local and offshore team in Canada on a product that requires constant innovation and new technologies upgrades on a frequent basis. The ideal candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Android Development.

Skills Required:

Android Studio and Java and Kotlin
Experience in all parts of the Android ecosystem including:
Application development (application structure; device and operating system API’s; debugging; performance; security),
Deployment, updating, and roll-out
3rd party integration points including gson, Facebook, Google APIs.
Should have strong OOP concepts.
Good experience of making REST API Calls and error handling
Good concept of how to better manage memory and CPU
Handling on device SQL Lite database required for applications.
Should have a strong memory and multi-threading management skills for Android environment.
Hands on experience of publishing and deployment of Android apps.
Multi-tasking with an ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
Working experience of Web Services implementation.

PLUS: Knowledge of Google Android material design principles, iOS experience
