Position: Maintenance Engineer

Job responsibilities:

Daily routine work

Maintenance Planning/Resource Planning & scheduling & Supervise activities according to relevant SOPs.
Check all the operational machines for its proper operation
Attend to the complaint of any breakdown of the machine, tools, forklifts like & maintain its machine break down report and same updated in the breakdown log report.
Confirm with the incharge of the section weather the idle and the operating machines of his section are ok
Inspect the maintenance work of his team, ensures that these are completed as per scheduled and conforms to established quality standards for work.
Coordinate for in-time spares and materials availability.
Takes responsibility for prompt and timely execution of repairs for the major break down so as to reinstate the production.
Personally check the work area as well get the machine maintenance plan signed by the each individual incharge of the section.
Anticipation of all Inter-Department complaints of company related to Building Structure and other maintenance work related activities. Guidance and Advice of respective manpower required.
Check the oil level of all the Air compressors in the chambering, packing, and chaser Section and maintain its level and do any maintenance services necessary.
Give complete electrical assistance and help to fix the problem if any arise in any machine or in factory as whole.
Take the electrical kwh meter and water meter readings to keep as record of electrical consumption as per day as well as for the whole month.
Make the purchase requisition slip as per the requirement with the co-ordination of production, Manager &follow up the same with Stores& purchase Dept.
Perform other duties & responsibilities assigned by the management.

Weekly routine work

Provide reports based on all measurements resulting from maintenance jobs & take monthly and yearly performance review.
Getting the Air filters of all Air compressors in chamfering, packing & chaser Section cleaned twice a week.
Lubrication of the machines as per its requirement standard by Oil & Grease Twice a week.
Planning and doing the maintenance of the machine which is necessary to do the shutdown maintenance.
Testing and commissioning of newly purchased and installed machines with the coordination of other departments.
Cleaning of the Hydraulic oil pump filter of the Thread rolling machines every 15 days
