Supervising the Internal Audit Function of Asset Management Company & Mutual Funds. The AMC's internal audit service, including drawing up the internal audit strategy and annual plan and giving the annual audit opinion.
Ensuring approved policies & procedures are available for every activity of the Company. The arrangements in place to ensure that an organization fulfils its overall purpose, achieves its intended outcomes so that the AMC operates in an economical, effective, efficient and ethical manner.
Ensuring and monitoring the policies and procedures adopted by the Collective Investment Schemes are in conformity with the applicable laws.
Evaluating and enforcing procedures through which existing operational risk can be avoided or reduced.
Ensuring adequate internal systems and controls have been implemented to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and internal policies and procedures as presented in the Rules, Regulations, Laws, Contracts and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations through use of comprehensive checklists.
Report the findings raised during the audit, to the assistant manager for review.
Maintain the audit documentation for each audit observation and audit activity performed.
Keep abreast with internal audit best practices, methodologies and internal audit standards.
Maintain at all times, the confidentiality of any information obtained in the discharge of duties.
