- Determine and verify project requirements.
- Visit project sites assigned and provide site inspections of MEP installations
- Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction.
- Observe, check and ensure that work execution is in accordance with approved methods.
- Prepare inspection reports and site records.
- Assist the preconstruction team in the development and evaluation of MEP scope and pricing
- Assist scheduling team in developing detailed MEP installation activities, including resource loading
- Check that materials delivered are approved and properly stored.
- Observe site safety procedures. Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and/or Project Safety Representative.
- Measure work done when required.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
JOB SPECIFICATION
- DAE in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
- 8 to 9 years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination
- Thorough knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low voltage systems as well as the applicable codes and standards
- Thorough understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical, electrical, building system
