Understand hybrid and grid tied photovoltaic system design (100KW-5MW AC)
Use solar modeling software to provide accurate energy production estimates
Specify system components, prepare one-line electrical drawings and site plans using AutoCAD software for utility interconnection, permitting and construction drawings
Generate pricing for complex commercial solar projects
Work closely with the Development Team, Civil Engineers, Surveyors to assist with technical guidance and refine project design to overcome site-specific challenges
Work closely with operations team and project managers to provide design support prior to and during construction
Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams
Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality and are easy to decipher
Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk
Ensuring designs are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time
