Network Maintenance Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

On-site network management and maintenance of production network, with about 300 network equipment
Cooperate with remote technical support background, and be responsible for the handover, information collection, collation, verification and data collation of network system management and maintenance on site during the transition period
Handle urgent issues on site, establish of remote cooperative networks, accurately collect data and information on equipment in the machine room and lines, and quickly locate equipment positions and equipment ports.
Communication and on-site coordination with client's foreign employees and local operators
Discussion on network construction scheme and on-site information input

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position:

Good basic knowledge of LAN and WAN
Common LAN knowledge of VLAN, DHCP, STP, Multicast, Port Security, DHCP Snooping and Dynamic ARP Inspection, etc.
Routing protocols: OSPF and BGP
Familiar with common international IPLC, MPLS, SD-WAN link modes
Wireless network management and maintenance, understanding of common Radius authentication servers, Portal authentication methods and related configurations
Firewall management, maintenance, and access rules, Site to Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, IPSec VPN and SSL VPN
Use of network management software, such as ACS, ISE, Solarwind, NetFLow analysis, etc.
Proficient use of office tools such as Excel and Visio
Knowledge of software and hardware facilities of data center and machine room, basic wiring knowledge, safe operation protection of machine room, etc.
Good troubleshooting ideas and capabilities
Good teamwork and communication skills
CCNP or CCIE certificate (preferred)
