Handle accounts payable and receivable
Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material
Check invoices for inaccuracies
Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
Handle general account queries
Contact clients about invoices that are past due
Balance company budget
Ensure financial statements are organized and maintained at all times
Create regulatory reports for internal auditors
Present all financial findings to management, i.e. prepare written reports and attend face-to-face meetings for review
Assisting in the preparation of budgets
Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
Processing invoices
Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
The accounts officer is responsible for checking and supervising all the financial reports and documents.
They are also required to manage and monitor the pricing on a daily base
It is the part of their job to collaborate with the various finance and accounting teams and initiate the timely preparation of the financial statements on a monthly basis
