Responsible for the procurement of all type of construction related heavy material used at site in civil work e: g: Sand, Crush, Cement, iron, PVC Pipes etc.
Monitor market conditions and equipment and materials costs.
Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies and equipment as per demand.
Interface with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues.
Responsible to sustain long term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Responsible for the provision of on-time material as required.
Ensure proper record maintenance of material purchased and used.
Make sure that all the procurements orders are approved by the project management authority and relevant head of department.
Maintain record of rental materials, proceed payments and negotiate contracts renewal in a timely manner.
