Automation Test Engineer

The role:

We currently have an opportunity for a smart, enthusiastic and highly independent developer to join our existing team in Lahore. You will be working in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment and will be supporting and developing a system currently deployed locally and internationally. You will get exposure to the full development life-cycle and provide support to our team of engineers where required. Primarily, you would be responsible for designing test cases for applications under development and be the key entity to validate and verify all aspects of the respective applications are functional and optimized.

About you:

You will have a background or a true passion for software/computer science preferably with a degree or similar in a relevant field. While the role is primarily web based development, the successful applicant will also require a diverse range of skills, knowledge and problem solving ability due to the nature of our work. You are expected to have had exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Git, Selenium, Karma, Jasmine and some web technologies like Angular.

As a minimum, you should:

Have sound knowledge of HTML/Javascript/CSS/AJAX
Experience with frameworks like Angular, Vue, React is a plus
Java experience (equivalent .NET experience will be considered)
Have a basic understanding of user interface design
Have had exposure to working with databases/SQL
Be highly organised and logical
Be able to assess needs and design goals of products
Have had exposure to tools like Jenkins, and experience with e2e testing and unit testing.
Be a pragmatic thinker who truly seeks to find solutions beyond the norm.
Have a high level of passion and dedication
