Job brief

We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both

front and back-end programming. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. Further, Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

The role is working for a well-established, multi-national Education company that specializes in education and training products/courses. You will be working normal hours (minimum 40 hours a week) from your home as a remote working employee parallel to the UK working time.

Job Responsibilities:

Developing front end website architecture.
Designing user interactions on web pages.
Developing back-end website applications.
Creating servers and databases for functionality.
Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Designing and developing APIs.
Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Developing front end website architecture.

Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role (Minimum 5 years’ experience as a full-stack developer)
Experience developing desktop and/ or mobile applications
Familiarity with common stacks
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js, Laravel)
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX design
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail
Organizational skills
An analytical mind
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
