POSITION DETAILS
This candidate is responsible for using their knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), business applications, IT Infrastructure, ServiceNow, Cloud technology, and business strategies, to help Mobiz to deliver high-quality, improve productivity and communication. The duties include working with management and clients to determine their needs, define user stories, and provide technical documentation as needed. The successful candidate ensures great customer experience and value delivery. The Business Analyst will be proficient in the English language through written and verbal communication skills. The Analyst is also required to communicate with team members at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends best practices and professional business knowledge
- Evaluate customer and Mobiz internal business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
- Develop process models, requirements, user stories, and other deliverables using Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Office tools
- Conduct requirements analysis
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the entire project life-cycle
- Prepare and facilitates workshops to discuss and review business processes and optimization strategies
- Develop business processes flows and descriptions
- Work directly with leadership and clients to understand the client-specific business requirements and to identify tool-agnostic process and process gaps
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
- Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiency.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Facilitate formal user acceptance testing
- As required, participate in testing activities such as test case creation, execution, and managing issue resolution
- Document, maintain and improve operational procedures within a client’s business to increase efficiency and productivity via user guides, quality of life assessments and process improvement
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge (e.g. regarding ServiceNow or Cloud technologies) by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience as a business analyst or closely related role required
- Experience with ServiceNow and Cloud technologies is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) preferred
- Experience in a scrum master role a plus
- Working experience of MS Office Suite required
- Software development processes and procedures experience preferred.
