Job Description

A US based company is looking to expand its software development team in Islamabad.

We are seeking full-time Senior Software Engineers with solid skills in React or any other JavaScript framework to join our team.

The role demands hands-on coding throughout a project lifecycle and will appeal to individuals who are driven by an innovative spirit and see solutions where others see challenges. To be successful you will need a combination of problem-solving, technical, and communication skills, and the ability to handle a mix of disparate tasks which will include project and software development work.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement fitness user experiences in React JS on an embedded Android platform
Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles
Good understanding of functional programming, object oriented programming, reactive programming and type safety
Deliver high quality and thoroughly tested software
Bug fixing and improving application performance

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of experience developing high-performance, highly scalable frontend application systems
2+ years experience in React JS or React Native
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript including ES6+ syntax
Proficiency in Redux
Hand-on experience in React Hooks, Redux Saga, GraphQL and REST APIs
Familiarity with Unit-testing frameworks, such as Jest
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Familiarity with using git from the command line
Linux CLI and open source tools

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with:

TypeScript
C++, Qt and QML
Android SDK (Kotlin and/or Java)
