To attend and actively participate in Procurement Committee meetings to develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective, assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities;
To be fully responsible for procurement function; ensuring timely supply of raw material/goods approved by Procurement Committee;
To implement and monitor SOPs for supply of raw materials/goods as devised by Procurement Committee;
To establish, maintain, implement and monitor SOPs for sourcing reliable vendors and negotiating with them to secure advantageous terms;
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility;
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers under the general guidance and framework formulated by Purchase Committee;
To provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes;
To anticipate unfavorable events through data analysis; prepare control strategies in coordination and consultancy with Procurement Committee;
To ensure discipline and compliance with company policies by staff reporting to you;
To be responsible for any other role assigned by Procurement Committee/MD/CEO;
