A bidder or business developer is responsible for submitting bids and generating sales for the company using various freelancer platforms. He/she is responsible for bidding on platforms like upwork, freelancer etc. Bidders are also responsible for discovering and using other ways of submitting successful bids and converting them to sales.
As a bidder, you are responsible for bidding online for services like web development in PHP, ASP.NET, Wordpress etc. and digital marketing services like SEO, SEM and PPC etc. You should be able to provide your previous record of successful bidding and showcase your talent in negotiating with global clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Deliver consistent, new and qualified opportunities.
· Prepare documentation for pre-qualification and arrange submission online or manual.
· Be able to sell the services to potential customers
· Be able to bid on online platforms like upwork, freelancer etc.
· Prepare custom proposals for clients and generating leads using these proposals.
· Produce and deliver compliant and professionally produced proposals within customer’s defined timeframes.
· Be able to bid for projects of web development in PHP, ASP.NET and Wordpress.
· Be able to bid for projects in digital marketing e.g. SEO, SEM and PPC etc.
· Ability to strike partnerships and working relationships to obtain the contracts for outsourced work to deliver over long terms.
· Ensure proposal documents are of proper standard and well written
· Maintain list of companies and contact information
· Set profiles and portfolios on different freelancing websites
· Achieve the monthly target
· Report to the senior management effectively.
· Perform day to day analysis of sales and progress.
· Manage weekly reports of training and development
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficient knowledge of freelancing platforms e.g. upwork, freelancer etc.
· Proficient knowledge of proposal writing and bidding
· Ability to write tailored proposal with proper standards and format
· Good knowledge of report writing
· Basic knowledge of programming and web development tools
· Good communication skills
· Good negotiating skills
· Good skills of dealing with clients and providing quality services
· Proficient knowledge of international as well as local market
· Good English writing and speaking skills.
· Should be able to provide previous records of successful bidding.
