You will be expected to work in an entrepreneurial environment with evolving needs on your time. We will look for flexibility from you but the below major points should give a sense for likely areas of focus for you.
Your responsibilities will cover all key channels (e.g. Google, Social, On-site etc.) and are detailed below.
1. Help devise Digital Marketing strategy for underlying businesses: This involves streamlining strategy that targets users all across the marketing funnel. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing & the Founders to help set a digital marketing strategy that helps achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly leads/sales targets.
This will include:
a. Define Digital Marketing Strategy for the account based on understanding of business needs covering full range of channels
b. Evaluate existing campaigns to identify areas of improvement (e.g., budget reallocation, tactical improvement etc.)
c. Evaluate new channels for deploying budget, run tests, evaluate results / refine tests, and support in scale up of new channels
2. Design, launch and continuously improve campaigns: You will be responsible for the following:
a. Structure and design User Acquisition & User Engagement campaigns for Web/App
b. Launch and monitor campaigns (e.g., 1-day check, 7-day check, 30-day check)
c. Manage and refine campaigns to ensure delivery against KPIs
3. Day to day maintenance of ad accounts: For accounts assigned to you, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the accounts. You will be expected to:
a. Review key metrics for the account at an adset / keyword level across channels (e.g., pos, impression share, quality score / relevance, out ranking share)
b. Make day-to-day changes to improve performance (e.g., fix ad copy, change bid levels, revise budgets, add negative keywords, shift keywords across match type)
c. Ensure accounts follow best practice (e.g., ad copies, campaign settings, bid strategy library)
d. Periodic (e.g., weekly, monthly) revision of products to marketed (e.g., gather input, review performance in previous week, create advertising list for the week, ensure effective advertising)
e. Develop and execute new ways to improve engagement (e.g. shares, likes etc.) on social media channels
4. Perform housekeeping with regards to analytics
a. Ensure that Google Tag Manager tags are firing properly & passing the right information
b. Keep close tabs on Performance Marketing Dashboard to report on any issues & help debug them
5. Manage relationships with stakeholders
a. Be the focal point of contact b/w Advertising/Analytics partners & CarSwitch
b. Ensure that communication is swift & clear, & any advertising/analytics issues are resolved in a timely manner
c. Explore new avenues for expanding/growing the portfolio of campaigns
