Responsibilities
- Design logical and physical data models as per user requirements along with collaring and preparing and presenting sample data for models.
- Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, security and privacy along with complete user requirements coverage.
- Develop business intelligence visualizations based designed databases using BI tools e.g. tableau, Power BI, Meta base etc.
- Upgrade and improve data and application schema, preparing design documents and functional specifications.
- Support and collaborations with Development team to Implement database design, and review developer’s work to ensure correct implementation.
- Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using SQL/T-SQL.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ work experience as a Database Designer/developer/BI Analyst or related role
- In-depth understanding of user requirements to database design ensuring performance , security , coverage and scalability constraints
- Excellent SQL expertise—you can write a query to extract almost anything from databases with respective performance constraints.
- Knowledge of web based software development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough Experience of Oracle and MySQL Databases along with administration.
- Database tuning experience, database integration design, implementation, and management of database projects.
- Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment—you can address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering, and respond quickly to other business needs.
- Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations.
- ETL experience along with No SQL Platforms is a plus.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines.
- Minimum BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field
