We are seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to strategize and manage our commercial construction project.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

Plan and supervise construction procedures and ensure the project(s) are finished in a timely and efficient manner.
The Development Project Manager must be well-acquainted with all construction methodologies and processes, while also coordinating a multidisciplinary team of professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes
Work in partnership with a team of engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
Oversee and manage the sales and marketing teams to deliver a commercially successful project.
Foster a profitable relationship with external vendors.
Obtain permits and licenses from relevant governing authorities.
Determine the resources needed (equipment, materials, manpower) from the start of the project till its completion in accordance with the budget allocated.
Schedule and plan all phases of construction operations.
Negotiate contracts with potential vendors/partners.
Hire and supervise contractors, vendors and other relevant skilled staff.
Evaluate progress and craft detailed reports, while ensuring adherence to industry health & safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience of 8-10 years with mid-to-large scale commercial projects.

BSc in engineering, building science or relevant field.

In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles .

Familiarity with quality, health and safety standards.

Well acquainted with construction/project management software.

PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of MS Office.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

A team player with leadership abilities.

Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively.

The ideal candidate must also possess great analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for details.
