Analyzes fabric costs by fabric type, supplier and item to identify opportunities for cost reductions.
Manage product approval process to achieve on-time delivery and quality product.
Negotiate costs to achieve financial targets.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with fiber manufacturers, mills and other business partners; manage a wide array of contacts and help negotiate terms.
Create a sourcing strategy and timeline to ensure fabric delivery for upcoming product offerings/seasons.
Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
Ensure all raw materials meet Reformations sustainability standards, and that significant suppliers meet Reformations social and environmental code of conduct.
Ensure fabric quality and test for toxicity for all fabrics prior to bulk order.
