Key Accountabilities:

The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his / her roles and responsibilities in line with Islamic values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and team members.

• Follow the schedule of the lunch, tea, and dinner of staff and prepare food according to the instructions of the mess manager
• Preparing of food & serving during official events and daily mess
• Cleaning of kitchen & crockery
• Strictly follow the hygiene and sanitation guidelines, and ensure the cleanliness of kitchen, utensils and dining hall
• Purchasing of monthly kitchen supplies
• Procure food relate items in advance according to the instructions of the mess manager
• Keep record of all the purchases of kitchen items, mess members and guests

Person Specification: It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. The organization has a zero-tolerance policy towards PSEAH and don’t support any action that promotes or encourages PSEAH.

Qualification:

Literate preferably Matric qualified

Experience:

Relevant experience of 5 years with Matric and/or 7 years with Middle; in cooking with hotel/private company/NGO/office

Language: Urdu and Pashto. Knowledge of English would be value added.

Key Personal Qualities:

Value Added Skills:

Firefighting tools knowledge.
