About the Job
As our SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing the creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SEO and Web analytics strategies. In addition to developing and executing the campaigns, the SEO Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and modifying the strategy as needed to maximize ROI. This role encompasses managing all SEO activities, such as keyphrase research, content development, and making website enhancements to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also play a vital role in creating and implementing tracking codes from analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and analyzing Web data that contributes to our success. In-depth Technical SEO experience is a major plus, but you should be extremely comfortable performing crawls, taking care of Search Console, and working with development teams to ensure that the website is optimized, fast, and healthy.
Responsibilities:
Define requirements and tasks, and execute implementation of SEO strategies
Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals
On Page SEO - Develop and execute first page ranking for onsite optimization for high priority products and categories. The strategy work will include SEO copy work, internal link structure and keywords & Execute global site content optimization plan with regional marketing’s social media and content initiatives
Off Page SEO - Implement link building campaign from authoritative and relevant industry sites to oregonproducts.com & Ensure product content is continually optimized for 3rd party online marketplaces.
Collaborate, integrate, and train members of teams that belong to dev, systems, and marketing on best practices.
Work closely with PPC Strategists to optimize the best SERP strategies possible
Develop and implement link-building campaigns
Establish KPIs and performance metrics via a thorough understanding of the financial and market information impacting the performance of our SEO/SEM efforts
Develop and execute quarterly reviews with internal marketing team around SEO/SEM efforts
Analyze on site and off site performance metrics to explain variances to business
Ensure timely, consistent delivery of SEO content
Collaborate with regional marketing teams to maximize SEO and SEM efforts
Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites
Communicate to internal and external team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
Monitor and evaluate search results and performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
Monitor and evaluate Web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
Keep pace with new marketing industry trends and latest developments
Manage analytics systems, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Devise appropriate and effective systems/approaches for data collection
Independently perform analytics implementation testing and site audits
Qualifications & Skills Required:
3+ solid years experience in Search Engine Optimization
Advanced skills in Google Analytics and at least basics in Google Tag Manager
Ability to effectively manage multiple work-streams and projects
Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner
Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions
Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
Set a good example of personal integrity
Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance
Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process
Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically and to identify and resolve problems
Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills
High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
