Fajr Academy

Fajr Academy

Fajr Academy’s founder, Asim Ismail, is an educational entrepreneur. He has been a teacher, trainer and consultant in education and Islamic studies. He served as the founding Head of Islamic Department at the 'Reflections School' from 2007 to 2011, where he successfully tested several initiatives that he now brings to Fajr Academy.

Fajr Academy began with a question: instead of adapting Western education to Muslim values, why not develop our own system?

Seeking Allah’s pleasure, we decided on a simple but bold vision:

To design and implement a modern educational system for Muslim children modeled on our earliest generations.

We have set five long-term objectives to achieve this vision:

+ To instill a love for Allah in our students and staff.

+ To prepare our students and staff for success in this life and the next.

+ To groom a new generation of Muslim educators.

+ To promote Islamic education in society.

+ To bridge the gap between Muslims who are educated in religious and
secular institutions.
