In 1999, Zafar Securities Ltd became a corporate member of Lahore Stock Exchange (G) Ltd. ZSL acquired the corporate membership of National Commodity Exchange Ltd, now Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Ltd (PMEX). In 2003, ZSL was the first brokerage house in Punjab to start on-line trading which gave its clients the opportunity to trade on-line and make their own decisions without any dependence on brokerage houses or traders. It became the first brokerage house in Pakistan to simultaneously offer its clients two trading platforms i.e. Karachi trading floor and the Lahore trading floor.
