PHP Developers

Codup is a growing software company with an international clientele. We focus primarily on web and mobile technologies to solve complex problems for our growing client base every day. Clients include small brick and mortar companies in the US to disrupting web products and platforms delivered on the SaaS model to complex solutions developed on Wordpress. Ecommerce enabling technology and integrations are a major portion of our portfolio; with Woo Commerce being the preferred platform.

Codup is now looking for young, energetic and enthusiastic developers to add to our ranks.

If you are enthusiastic about open source and dynamic web technologies like PHP, Wordpress, Node.js, Angular.js would like to use these tools to solve interesting problems every day, then we're looking for you.

Candidate must have the following attributes:

To be resourceful and creative in solving problems.
Follow coding standards and best practices
Minimum of 2 years experience on PHP with strong Object Oriented programming skills
Minimum of 1 year experience with Wordpress & Woo Commerce using hooks, actions and
filters.
Linux skills preferred (command line, scripting, administration)
Experience using MySQL
NoSQL experience would be a plus
Working knowledge of backup, databases and file systems
Knowledge/experience with Agile software methodology
Experience working with a production environment with zero or very minimal downtime
An understanding of design and schematic patterns
Knowledge of version control with GIT preferred.
Web Services (e.g. JSON, RPC, REST, XML, SOAP, etc.)
Bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA, FogBugz, etc.)
PHP Frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, Laravel, etc.)
