Creative Chaos is looking to hire an infrastructure focused DevOps Engineer. An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with 3-4 years of relevant experience. The DevOps Engineer will have expert-level background with Linux server engineering and administration, strong experience with containerization, build automation, automated software delivery and exposure to AWS Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

· Setup AWS infrastructure for the application and implement environments for quality assurance, development, etc.

· Work collaboratively with engineering teams to create CI/CD pipelines and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure.

· Deploy and support applications on cloud environment (AWS is must have)

· Setup and configure Windows & Linux based systems.

· Improves collaboration between developers and operations specialists by using shared DevOps tools.

· Automates the manual processes of release management, infrastructure provisioning, orchestration, monitoring, containerization, and virtualization.

· Build and maintain an infrastructure that is secure, reliable, scalable, and automated

· Responsible for infrastructure security includes but not limited to server hardening, performance tuning and patches installation.

· Implement continuous application/infrastructure monitoring tools & employ processes to make sure high availability and identify performance dips to notify relevant stakeholders.

Skills Required

· Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem with experience handling & creating large scale, multi-tenant cloud environments.

· Strong skills of automation and DevOps toolchain is must (Dockers, CodePipeline, Codebuild, CodeDeploy, ECS, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.)

· Experience using Docker with a good understanding of Docker containers, registry etc.

· Hands-on Networking and Scripting (Bash/PowerShell, RoR, Python) experience

· Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.)

o Web server skills including Nginx & Apache.

· Basic understanding of version controlling system such as Git.

· Skilled in Agile development methodology

· Exceptional communication skills, both in written and in verbal form

Requirement

3-4 Years of relevant experience of working in a highly scalable cloud-enabled environment.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
