§ Design and deliver an overarching industrial relations strategy with the key focus on establishing strong ties with Labour Unions and Government Departments.
§ Work closely with various internal departments, to understand the needs of a diverse workforce and effectively assisting the Management to understand and implement policies and procedures.
§ Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
§ Administer and interpret various labor agreements, administer grievance procedures, and provides labor relations support during contract negotiations.
§ Acts as a liaison between department managers and union representatives.
§ Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.
§ Directs the development of staffing strategies.
§ Ensures compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations.
