We are looking for a talented Illustrator to create original pieces of artwork for print and digital publications.
For this role, you will collaborate with designers, editors and marketers to make sure you gasp and sketch out their business needs to attract their audiences. If you can use your creative skills to turn messages and ideas into appealing illustrations, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will create illustrations that meet quality standards under ambitious deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorming with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas.
- Preparing and designing rough draft illustrations according to client specifications.
- Defining any budget or time limitations.
- Creating complete illustrations by combining painting, hand-drawn and digitally created images.
- Refining image design using illustration software.
- Enhancing the design concept using a wide range of colors and graphics.
- Applying complex isometric techniques to add perspective to design shapes.
- Formatting final illustrations using CAD software.
- Ensuring that printed illustrations meet specified color and quality standards.
Skills:
- Excellent at drawing and sketching
- Strong conceptual and Sketching skills to create clean graphics illustrations
- Creative and imaginative with an eye for color, balance, and layout
- Able to create a drawing that expresses an idea or concept
- Great at problem-solving skills
- Able to see close detail and have good hand-eye coordination
- Self-motivated and intensely focused
- Visionary and Deadline-driven
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
Requirements:
- Portfolio of completed illustrations
- 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Adobe illustrator
- Experience in Adobe After Effects will be plus
- Prior work experience as an Illustrator, concept artist, or similar
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or relevant field
