Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating a business proposal
  • Develop proposal outlines and proposal schedules to meet the milestones.
  • Manage and coordinate preparation and submittal of all proposal volumes.
  • Create and/or provide proposal sections, graphics, draft cover letters, and boilerplate materials for submission.
  • Draft clear and compliant proposal sections; translate technical solutions into persuasive content -Review, edit and synthesize drafts to ensure one voice.
  • Edit content for consistency, clarity, grammar and ensure customer requirements are addressed clearly and fully.
  • Manage multiple proposals at the same time, prioritizing to meet strict deadlines
  • Manage and organize proposal library, past performance write-ups and any other proposal resources
  • Research perspective client vision, mission, values, business objectives and communications
  • Report on various proposal win/loss rates and other data as needed
  • Create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed in response to solicitations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English literature, business or related field is required.
  • Healthcare experience or an understanding of the healthcare market is also preferred.
  • Demonstrated work and practical experience in proposal development processes.
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation, technical writing, editing, communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Documented track record managing and preparing winning proposals of various sizes and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. -Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, such as: Gather and relate information from different sources to draw logical conclusions.
  • Ability to identify, clarify and communicate the exact nature of internal/external customer’s problem or request and make solution recommendations.
  • Notice discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information and brings it to light.
  • Supports other outputs include business-related writing projects assigned by the Director, Marketing and Communications
