You will be an integrated part of the CureMD’s legal team who will proactively assess legal risks and advise on products that will not only move information into the 21st century but drive information law forward as well.
Key Responsibilities:
As Legal Associate at CureMD, you will
- work on the most exciting legal issues and proactively assess legal risks and advise on products.
- support CureMD teams in the U.S., Canada and Pakistan, negotiating, drafting and advising on strategic enterprise agreements and technology licensing agreements,
- assist with global expansion ensuring that the initiatives fall under legal regulatory ambit.
- handle transactions ranging from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic agreements such as data use agreements, technology licensing agreements, joint research projects
- monitor proposed and existing legislation and other changes in the legal environment or industry practice affecting the organization and
- advise senior management and others, as necessary. Evaluate and advise appropriate legal courses of action to meet Company and business unit needs
- specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- L.L.B., L.L.M.
- 1 year experience of consulting to large multi-specialty group practices
- 1 year of transaction / corporate experience.
- 1 year of experience with litigation support within a law firm desired
- Track record of drafting, reviewing and revising agreements coupled with outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Competent in legal research.
- Ability to work during U.S shift
