ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be primarily responsible for the followings

Analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment of various applications in an mobile environment
Serve as a key technical resource for building native mobile applications and APIs.
Support the testing and launching efforts of new Internet-based products.
Work with agile development processes.
Work closely with Server & Database Dev teams to Design, build & improve the Mobile Applications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Technical (Engineering or Computer Science or IT) BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience or equivalent Skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Must have 2+ years of experience in developing Android Applications.
Experience with the Java, Eclipse, Android Studio, IDEA, SQL / SqLite, XML / JSON, TCP / IP / Socket Communication
Experience with Location Provider, Sensors Data, Google/Bing Maps, Sound, Graphics & Multimedia
Encryption/Security Knowledge will be a plus
Preferable if experience with Hockeyapp, Splunk Mint SDKs and Analytics/Profiling Tools.
Strong OOP, object-oriented design (OOD) and data structure concepts.
Experience of developing client-server Apps.
C/C++ / NDK experience will be a plus.
Experience of designing multi-threaded applications.
Familiar with GIT, subversion, bug tracking software’s, Wiki and peer-code-review tools
Strong debugging skills. Should be familiar with profiling app, memory usage analysis, bandwidth usage analysis.
Experience of working with any XMPP SDK/ VoIP SDK / SIP protocol / media stack.
