We are looking for a motivated professional with a track record of designing and building high quality Wordpress websites.

You must have 5+ years' experience and a comprehensive demonstrable portfolio.

You will be required to work remotely (i.e. from home/ your own premises). This is a PART TIME position and you will be required to work 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) – these hours will be set sometime between 2PM and 9PM PST. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE AVAILIBILITY FOR THIS.

You will be assigned to work with a web development agency, you will work on website projects from conception through to completion.

This includes:

· Building custom themes

· Producing page layouts

· Creating complete designs and custom graphics

· Integrating advanced functions

· Site testing

· And interpreting client communications.

To be considered for this role, YOU MUST HAVE:

Proven Wordpress experience and an ability to set up and manage Wordpress websites,
Experience of dealing with Wordpress technical issues and set up plugins
Experience of designing and building complete websites and layouts from scratch
An advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience with image manipulation using Photoshop
Experience using Elementor Pro page builder
Experience with hosting, SSL certificates, and navigating around a hosting Control Panel
Highly motivated, well presented and well-spoken with good communication skills.
Experience with SEO

You will be responsible for:

Taking a clients’ ideas and making them a reality
Initial set up of the Wordpress site, including setting up plugins
Creating a custom theme
Turning the clients’ content into complete page designs
Manipulating or even creating custom graphics for the site
Testing and ensuring the site is responsive and working correctly
Optimising the site for SEO purposes

Other Requirements

· You must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)

· Knowledge and understanding of life and culture in the UK (not mandatory but will be an advantage).

· Experience of living and/or studying and/or working in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe or Australia (not mandatory but will be an advantage).

Selection process

· Applications will ONLY be considered if a portfolio is provided.

· Suitable candidates will be invited for an initial interview over video call (20 minutes)

· Should you be successful at the initial interview stage, you will be invited for a formal interview also over video call (30 minutes) followed by a test (up to 2 hours).

Working timings

This is a PART-TIME position and the initial contract is 20 hours per week (as 4 hours per day Monday to Friday these will be set between sometime between 2PM and 9PM PST).

Salary

For working 20 hours every week (4 hours a day, 5 days a week) you will get paid in the region of PKR 40,000 to 50,000 per month.This Salary is based on a full-time salary of PKR 80,000 to 100,000 per month (full time is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week). Your working hours may increase in due course but to begin with this will be a part time position of 20 hours per week.
