- Manage all operating end-user software.
- Manage backups, replications and disaster recovery plans of company mission critical servers and database files to ensure redundancy.
- Administer desktop support for 1000 mac and windows computer used by staff, students, and patrons of the libraries.
- Deploy and troubleshoot complex software installations.
- Provide hardware and software installation and setup, perform system maintenance and ensure network connectivity.
- Provide problem solving and troubleshooting for connectivity issues with customers and helping customers with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Create strong relationship with customers by resolving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP relate problems through remote desktop and on site.
- Provide expertise in advance networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and so forth.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library, assist with system security and data integrity.
- Supply data recovery support, restored/ backed-up user data, and re-image laptops.
- Demonstrate clear written communication skills define as the ability to clearly document symptoms, troubleshooting steps and compose professionally written emails.
- Used communication and diagnostic skills, consistently to solve problems with a reputation for productivity, complex problem resolutions and professionalism.
- Complete troubleshooting steps to get customers internet connection running accurately.
Requirements:
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of following:
- Project & Team Management.
- Knowledge of LAN, WLAN & WAN.
- Windows OS & Active Directory, WDS, WSUS, Print & File Server, DHCP, DNS.
- Microsoft Outlook.
- NTFS & Share Permission.
- Ability to understand Events & Logs monitoring.
- MAC & Linux OS knowledge is a Plus.
- Very well aware of technical documentation & report writing.
