Data Needle are seeking a Lead Big Data Engineer / Software Product Manager to become an integral part of our team in Pakistan! We are UK based Technology company, rolling out offshore product / solutions development in Pakistan.

The Lead Engineer, Manager will be a key member of the our organization, responsible for gathering requirements and translating them into robust user stories aligned to business value, along with supporting the development lifecycle and closely collaborating with technical teams. The candidate will work closely with Product and Tech leadership along with a wide array of stakeholders across the organization to define priorities, and work with the teams on day-to-day basis in an agile environment to build and implement outstanding products and platforms.

Qualifications

· Excellent big data and analytics technical knowledge and an understanding of the product lifecycle. Must have experience building a big data product or entire solutions.

· Great organizational skills and a high level of oral/written communication skills

· Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems

· Experience gathering business & product requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications preferably in an Agile development setting

· Ability to prioritise own workload across multiple projects simultaneously and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues.

· Familiarity with web-based and/or data oriented product development including tiered architecture, data organization, and performance optimization

· Experience working in a data/analytics-centric environment across technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, SQL, Spark, ML, Kafka, Teradata highly preferred, along with key knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)

· Previous experience in software product management. and development experience

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
