A. Role:Part of a small team, you will primarily work on the main website and the supporting backend environment.Tasks:- Design and develop the first version of a full scale client side web site (for mobile and computer). The individual will be expected to use current best practices in website design and established technologies.- Enhance the website based on new business requirements- Integrate the web app with a real time document store database and update it and the central data schema as required- Will be expected to contribute to all stages of product delivery; development, testing and deployment.- Will be the first line of support in ensuring that Digibaad systems are online and working properly.- Where possible help with development of other components of the software stack and setting up of environments- At digibaad we really value each individual and hope to cater the role to their interests, as opportunities arise you will be able towork in different roles and use different technologies, such as mobile app development, DevOps, server side programming, algorithm design , machine learning etc.Individuals will also be encouraged to spend time on training and improve their skill set.B.- A long standing employment contract will be signed with the selected candidate, subject to a six-month probation period.C. Eligibility CriteriaEducation:-Bachelor's degree-A degree that demonstrate strong analytical and technicals skills will be advantageous , such as Mathematics / Statistics /Physics /Engineering / Applied Sciences / Computer Science / Software DevelopmentExperience:-Formal experience is benefitial but not necessary , as long as you can demonstrate relevant interest. Usefuil Skills:-JavaScript / Typescript -HTML 5-Responsive Design - Mobile/Desktop-CSS-Written and verbal english communication skills-TeamworkPreferable skills:-unix/linux environment-progressive web apps-NoSql databases-Single Page Website-JavaScript Frameworks React Js or React Native-Object Oriented Programming experience in other languages such as Java, Python etc.-Android development-test driven developmentD. Selection CriteriaPost application, shortlisted candidates will be required to go through the following selection process:i) Stage 1: Preliminary first round interview onlineii) Stage 2: If successfull a final interview at the office and an opportunnity to get to know the team
