Digital Graphiks is looking for a highly motivated App developer with at least two years of React Native experience and should be capable of creating Apps on both Android and iOS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Use React Native to build native apps.
- Work with a multi-functional team and ship the features timely with an acceptable quality
- Work closely with backend engineers to understand, design, and contribute to our APIs
- Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
- Understand and excel at front-end standard methodologies
Requirements:
- Two years of experience building commercial React Native mobile applications for both iOS and Android
- Strong understanding of modern standards-based HTML, CS, and JavaScript (ES 6-7), and experience with React/Redux
- Experience with native mobile programming (Objective-C, Swift, Java/Android)
- Strong portfolio of publicly available mobile apps on iOS/Android that we can review
- Experience with testing and debugging mobile apps, particularly React Native apps (Jest, Detox, etc.)
- Experience with or basic understanding of back-end development and databases
- UX design experience (wireframes, user journeys, information architecture)
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js and React Native
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with standard front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. is a plus.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket, SVN
